About Pablo Picasso Estate Prints
In a time span of over 75 years, Picasso amazed the world with his versatility and genius. His art captured a unique style that was rich in personal expression and diversity. Picasso bestowed upon the world a legacy of art that was to be admired for generations.
The works of art were selected from the personal collection inherited by Marina Picasso Pablo Picasso's granddaughter.
After Pablo Picasso's death in 1973, Marina Picasso authorized the printing of these original lithographs, which have come to be known as the Picasso Estate Collection. The lithographs were meticulously created after the original works (Oil Paintings, Watercolors, Pastels, Charcoal Drawings, etc.) by Master Chromist Marcel Salinas, who worked closely with Picasso in his lifetime.
The lithographs are printed on smooth wove paper and were published between the years 1979-1982 in a limited edition of 1000. The plates were destroyed and could never be produced again. They have the approved Picasso signature printed below image and also in typeset under image, ‘Collection Marina Picasso’ and the copyright info right of image. All prints from this collection are sold with a certificate of authenticity from RoGallery.
